After this you’ll need to take your net curtains to the washing machine and choose a cycle designed for dealing with delicate garments. For white curtains, you should add around half a cupful of bleach to proceedings in order to maintain their appearance. For dark colours, it’s the same except with vinegar rather than bleach.

When the rinsing process begins, you should add fabric softener to the machine in order for the curtains to come out of the machine soft, flexible and pleasing to the touch. After this step is taken, you’re free to either hang the net curtains outside or to place them in the dryer. There’s no reason why net curtains shouldn’t be able to last you for a long period of time before they are replaced.
